Information for Membership

Club membership is £110.00 per annum.

Probationary members pay an initial fee of £50.00, the remainder of which is paid upon completion of the probationary period.

As a new member, you'll undergo a probationary period lasting 6 months. During this time, we require you to attend a minimum of 10 visits. Training will be provided for all types of shooting.

Your attendance to at least 10 visits within the 6-month probationary period is essential. If you don't meet this requirement, your probationary period will be extended until you've completed the 10 visits.

This is in order that we are confident that you have sufficient experience to safely obtain a FAC.

The club does have guest days throughout the year. However, these are for guests of existing club members and a £5.00 per guest fee is payable.

Junior members (Under 16's) can join free of charge when joining with an adult member.

We are obliged by law to notify the Police of any new applicants. Therefore, it would be helpful if an application form is submitted as soon as possible.

The Club has maintenance sessions throughout the year, and members are expected to attend at least one.

Note: Any member can have their membership terminated at any time for the misuse of the club, its furnishings and equipment, for shooting at objects other than official targets, for firing unapproved types and calibres of gun, or for shooting other than in single shot mode. The committee reserves the right to refuse membership and is under no obligation to give reasons, nor do applicants have the right of appeal.
